Pennyrile Electric is a cooperative, providing electric service to its members.  Anyone desiring service is required to become a member of the cooperative.  Before service can be given, the following charges must be paid.

1.  Membership Fee - $15.00

This fee may be applied to your final bill when service is no longer desired.  If you relocate within the Pennyrile service area, this fee is transferable.  (One membership will cover multiple accounts.)

2.  Connection Fee - $25.00

    This fee is not transferable or refundable.

3.  Deposit

Deposit on a commercial installation is based on the previous occupants kilowatt usage or if it is a new installation, on an estimated usage.  Amount required is the amount sufficient to cover a 2-month period of the highest kilowatt usage during the past 12 months.

The deposit can be satisfied by any of the following:

1.  Cash (under $10,000)
2.  Guaranteed bond of indemnity
3.  Letter of credit, guaranteeing amount of deposit, from reputable financial
     institution
