almost a year ago when our system was affected
by the most devastating ice storm we have ever
experienced.
Since then,
Pennyrile Electric has explored ways smart grid
technology can lend a hand when outages occur.
We now have computer
software that will assist us to better manage
power outages.
This outage
management system will give our customer service
representatives the ability to give more
information to members, during outages.
However, to maximize
the efficiency of our new system, it is
essential that we have the most up to date
information on every member.
