Pennyrile Electric has determined that an
adequate supply of meter bases are warehoused
and sold by electrical supply companies in our
service area and the supply is sufficient to
meet the needs of Pennyrile Electric customers.
Therefore, starting
on January 1, 2010, Pennyrile Electric will no
longer provide meter bases to customers.
A list
of names and item numbers of acceptable meter
base manufacturers is enclosed for your
convenience.
This list of approved meter
bases for Pennyrile Electric installations will
also be available at any Pennyrile office, as
well as
www.precc.com.
Pennyrile Electric reserves the right to update
and revise the approved manufacturer list of
meter bases as necessary to provide an adequate,
safe and reliable electric service to homes and
businesses.
