• Fourteen (14) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
• All applications will be reviewed, and winners selected by a qualified selection committee.
• Scholarships will be awarded on a one-time basis and will not be renewable.
• Scholarships will be paid upon proof of registration at an institution of higher education and will be issued in August 2008.
• Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender or disability.
• Attendance is expected at the Pennyrile Electric annual meeting in July.
